Behind the Scenes with a Portrait Photographer

 

When I’m taking photographs, especially portraits, I sometimes end up contorting myself into some interesting shapes and positions.  I like to try and take shots from lots of different angles to create interesting images.  Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t.

 

I also like to use squeakers and over my over the lens stuffed crab (you might notice in a few of these images) when working with babies and animals.  Funny noises and bright/interesting shapes helps catch the attention of little humans and animals.

 

I also enlist the help of parents, especially when working with babies.
